Another month has past and we're well into the summer weather around here. We are enjoying the slower pace after a busy spring of shows. Based on our traffic reports, we are well into swap season. This past month we have added quite a few swap meets and auctions and have a new feature called "What's New?" where you can do a quick check of the new pages that have been created. You can even subscribe to the feed, if you prefer. We're always trying to improve and be a better service to you, our visitors, so please feel free to give your feedback and suggestions.

There have been two new resource pages in the past month that I hope you will find helpful. First, for those of you trying to get organized, like we are, we have developed and made available to you, 14 different Record Keeping Charts and Checklists in .pdf format, that you can download and print for you own use. If you prefer to take what we've created and personalize them, we can provide a download of the .doc files for just $2.99.

We also have a "First Aid Kit" page where we have developed a list of all the supplies and medicines we always have on hand, here on our little farm. If you're just getting started or just want to have the basic supplies available so you won't need to run when an emergency arises, this list is a great place to start.

Also, in case you missed it, we also have a list of commonly used Abbreviations that may help you sort out what everything means when you attend a poultry show. I know the first few times I was at a show, I was baffled by them all. There is also a list available to print on our Charts and Checklist page.

There will be 20 new Trivia Questions posted on the website very soon. We're done with Avian Bowl questions for the year so we're back to questions my 9-year-old comes up with. She loves the chance to try to stump you. You may be surprised!

If you haven't purchased your bumper sticker yet, they are available. They were disappearing quickly at the last show we attended. If you have gotten one, snap a picture of it on your car (with you and your favorite chicken, if you'd like) and share it with all of us in our Facebook group or on our Facebook Fan page.
