I hope you've had a successful hatching season. Ours got started late but we're winding down and looking forward to seeing how they turn out for the fall shows. We have been working diligently trying to complete the dates for all the 2014 shows and swaps. We're almost there, but we need your help! If you know of a date that has been set that we haven't yet listed, let us know. We will list our "hold-outs" at the end of the email and if you know anything about the status, especially if you know they are not happening anymore, let us know so we can keep you all up-to-date and informed.

I don't know about you, but we have been planning out our fall show season. We recently discovered a great way to book our hotels on Booking.com well in advance but we don't pay until we get there and even usually have free cancellation should we change our mind! That gives me a lot of peace of mind as I plan ahead. I know the hotels are filling up fast especially for the big Ohio National show this November so it would be an excellent time to try it out and see what you think. (*We do get a small commission when you book your hotel through our website so if you benefit from our hard work, we'd be grateful for any purchases you make to help keep us going!)

I hope by now you have had a chance to see the new look of our website. We commissioned a good friend of mine, Hannah Holder, to redesign the banner, including an original watercolor painting of our Dutch rooster and we love the fresh look and I hope you do as well. This month we have been adding some pigeon shows to our lists. Pigeon shows are often held in conjunction with poultry shows but there are many out there that are just pigeon shows and we hope it is helpful for those of you with pigeons! If you ever have any suggestions for how we can be a better service to you all, we are all ears. We have more ideas than we'll ever have time to implement so knowing what would be most helpful to you is always very valuable. Now for the updates!
