VA - Silver laced and Partridge wyandottes
by Abigail
(Warrenton, VA )
I breed heritage standard silver laced and partridge wyandottes. I have been working with them for a number of years and am constantly trying to improve them. My goal is to produce the best wyandottes for exhibition. Part of making them excellent show birds is also making them superb table and producing birds. I want all birds, even culls, to have a purpose on the farm.
I have also written a book to better understand the wyandotte breeding and culling process. It is called "The Visual Guide to the Silver Laced Wyandotte". It has over 100 original, color illustrations going over, in great detail, the standard of the silver laced wyandotte. It can also be used for other wyandotte varieties.
I have had countless judges and veteran breeders look over the book and whole heartedly support it. Everyone wishes there was a book such as this for their own breeds!
You can purchase it through this link (http://amzn.to/2kfPVhj) or meet up with me at a show! I travel to many shows around the east coast and always try to make the Ohio National.
I sell chick, started birds, and adults when I have them available. The best way to see what I have available is to visit my farm page at www.Facebook.com/Dark.Star.Farm. I post often about my breeding program, show wins, poultry care, and daily dealings on the farm.
Feel free to send me a message through my farm page or email if you have questions! Email wojteckiwyandottes@gmail.com.
