Eurasian Collared Dove NEW
by: Anonymous

Eurasian Collared Doves have become indigenous to California. They are quite common and will cross with the Barbary (Common) Ringneck Dove, though the latter is much smaller. Their voice is unique to them and differs greatly from the Ringneck, as well, being a three-syllable call, as opposed to a four-syllable call. They are not legal to be kept in captivity, at least in California. As far as I know, there no color mutations for the Eurasian Collared Dove, as in the Barbary (Common Ringneck) dove.
